How we design fair free-to-play games

All Miwen Studio games are free to download. To keep them free, some of them show advertising. We know how annoying badly placed ads can be, so we follow a few simple rules.

1. Never interrupt the action

Full-screen ads only appear at natural breaks — for example between levels — never in the middle of a move or a puzzle.

2. Rewards are always optional

When a game offers a bonus in exchange for watching a video, it is your choice. You can always keep playing without it.

3. Respect the player's time

We cap how often ads can appear and we test the experience ourselves, every day, on our own phones.

4. Be family friendly

Our games are designed for a broad audience, and we configure our ad networks to filter out inappropriate categories.

5. Listen and adjust

If players tell us ads feel too frequent, we change the balance in the next update. Reviews on Google Play are one of the most useful tools we have.
